May I introduce myself? I am Owl, the Editor of the
Great Forest News.
My job is to ask the questions no one else does, and to tell the truth no one wants to admit.
As this is the first issue of The Great Forest News, we are experimenting with the layout. Right now we are using columns and image inserts.
May I present the dragon egg. It's rather beautiful, I believe. However, it causes great consternation in the Great Forest. Why? Because dragons eat frogs. There- fore, a dragon hatchling will not to be easily accepted into the forest community. In fact, Beach Bird thinks the frogs need to make a plan to wreck it.
The frogs lack of real effort and their desire to play leap frog on the lily pads with the dragon flies leaves the egg safe in the dragons' cave. Will they ever make a plan to destroy that egg? Probably not. We shall see.
Here's a frog picture. Does he look like he ia making a plan? For me. he looks like his only plan is to find a bug to eat for lunch.
As you may notice. the crea- tures in the Great Forest adventures have blue eyes. Why? It means they live in the Ancient Times. My eyes are blue, too. Dark blue.
