The Second Edition

2025

How is a dragon egg made?  What about beach eggs? Why are there enough frogs

for the dragons to eat?

The 2025 Edition answers these questions

and more.

The Illustrations

Cyril Mae creates sophisticated  illustrations

for the older youngster.

 Mixing watercolor and acrylics,

her details make  the Second Edition

an artistic experience.

The Background

Throckmorton, the dragon, and Melville, the frog, were originally

designed  for a silk screening project at college in the 1960's.

Published as a children's book in 2014, the story took on a life of its own.

The Second Edition of the Adventures of Great Forest morphed into more advice

and more panic!   With the addition of the Shell Wars at Ocean Wave City

it's asked,

 "Will anyone  ever  get along?"
